This past week I spent at my oldest daughter’s ranch near Billings Montana. My 7yr-old grandson Wyatt, a 2nd quarter midget race car's driver was participating in his first nationals competition. Super proud as he place Fourth in his category.

   While fishing on the banks of this small pond in Eastern Wa. A Spotted Sandpaper kept a close eye on me as it nervously flew from rock to rock

Old spot new nest

 Sometimes they return to the spot where they were the year before. Not sure if this truly the same Hummingbird that nested here last year. Good chance it is because it built its nest in the exact spot.
